Hi Caryl,

If you're having the issue, try the following:
1) On powerup, go into your BIOS settings (hit F2 on beep).
2) Find the "Integrated devices" options.
3) Change your default graphics from "Discrete" to "IGFX".

You can also assign the Default sound set to the Digital Output Devices (SPDIF) in the Sound settings Control Panel.

Hi Caryl, In addition to Mark\'s suggestion, I would like to include three additional references to help resolve the problem: Solution 1 : http://nvidia.custhelp.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/2484 Solution 2 : http://www.avsforum.com/t/1482693/workaround-nvidia-hdmi-audio-not-plugged-in-after-resume-from-sleep-s3-or-turning-tv-off-then-on Solution 3 : http://forum.avsim.net/topic/393662-no-hdmi-audio/#entry2541472 By the way, you can check the list of installed Windows updates through the control panel to see if an update was installed for your graphics card. Let us know how you go with this. Good luck, James

You need to make sure that your audio output on your computer is configured properly. You can do this by going to the little icon in the Windows task bar that looks like a speaker and right clicking on it. Then select \'Playback Devices\'. You will see a list of Audio output devices. On there you should see your TV listed (If you are using a HDMI cord). Right click on you TV in the list and select \'Set as Default\'. Hope that works for you!
