Change 32 bit to 64bit

It is not possible to switch from 32 bit to 64 bit, you need to install the operating system to do so. And you may not actually be able to install a 64-bit operating system on your computer. It depends on your hardware if it is possible.

00Hi Pat,
In order to switch to 64 bit from 32 bit, the only option available is that your hardware should be 64bit supported.
In this case, If you have 64bit hardware, but you have installed a copy of 32bit Windows 8 you can do that, but if the hardware itself is 32bit, then you can't install.
Let me know if your Hardware is 64 bit and I will provide the steps needed to change from 32 to 64 bit windows.
