Hi Panu, It is really important that you replace your laptop battery with an original battery replacement (same specifications) from Acer. You can either order it through Acer or other vendors. Do not risk ordering any cheap, third-party battery (different make) for your laptop, as it might not last very long and may cause problems in the long run. If you have indeed purchased an original replacement, just take it back to the store like Mark suggested and get a new one. Should the charging problem persist, it could be an issue with the charger or charging terminals in your laptop. Keep us posted. James

It seems that there might be a problem with the new battery. Is the battery an official one made by the same manufacturer of your computer? I would try going back to the battery company you bought it and tell them it is defective.
