Hi Sophia,

If you are not able to access the internet on Windows 10 Edge browser, there may be an issue with the browser or the hardware components. So, try the below fixes to resolve this issue:

Fix 1: Run the apps troubleshooter
You can follow the steps from the below link.
Run the troubleshooter for Windows apps

Fix 2: Tweak internet settings
  1. First, make sure Wi-Fi is set to On. Open Settings > Network & Internet > Wi-Fiand move the slider to the On position. Also make sure that the physical Wi-Fi button on your laptop is turned on.
  2. Right-click on the Start button to open the WinX Menu. Select Device Manager. Click on the Action tab and select Scan for hardware changes. This will refresh the list.
  3. If Wi-Fi is not visible in list of networks then type 192.168.1.1 in the browser address bar, the address is to connect to your router. Under Wireless section of the configuration settings, see if there is an SSID and if the box against “Broadcast SSID” is checked.
  4. You may also change the SSID to something else and click on Save to make sure the SSID is visible in the list of networks being displayed when you click the network icon in the Windows 10 System Tray.
Fix 3: Power Cycle the Router

Remove the power plug from the router after turning it off. Leave it for few seconds, plug in the power cord, and turn it on. Check to see if the WiFi is now visible in the list of networks.

Fix 4: Try SFC Check

The system file checker (SFC) utility allows administrators to perform a scan of all protected resources to verify that they are the correct version. If SFC should find any incorrect versions in any of these protected resources, SFC will replace them with the correct versions.
  1. Press Windows key + X, click Command Prompt (Admin).
  2. In the Command Prompt, type the following command, and then press enter:
    sfc /scannow
Fix 5: Use Windows Network Troubleshooter

You can use the built-in Windows Network Troubleshooter to see what is causing the problem and to fix it automatically.
  1. To start Windows Network Troubleshooter, type Network Troubleshooterin the search box next to Start Button.
  2. Click on Identify and Repair Network Connections from the list that appears.
  3. That will start Windows Network Troubleshooter. The wizard will lead you through steps to troubleshoot the connection problem.Windows 10 Cannot connect to Internet

Fix 6: Create a new user account and check the issue
Try these steps to create a new user account and check if it fixes the issue.
  1. Go to Settings.
  2. Choose Accounts and then select Other User Accounts towards the left.
  3. Select Add an Account.
  4. Enter a user name and hit Next.
  5. Click on Finish.
  6. Sign out from the current Account and Log into the new account.
  7. Check if issue persists.
I hope this helps in connecting you to the internet.

Lokesh
